Where coffee meets camaraderie.

Inside the well downtown Gahanna

SGT Coffee Co. is the daily coffeehouse inside The Well at 140 N High St in the Creekside district. Walk in during open hours, or book The Well for your own gathering and let us run the bar.

We pour handcrafted espresso, cold brew, and house-made syrups from the front bar. Veteran-owned. Community driven. Quality focused.

Open Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM, and Saturdays, 8 AM to 2 PM.

Rent The Well for meetings, gatherings, and community events at www.thewellgahanna.com.

September is Suicide Prevention Month. Free gun locks, gun cleaning mats, and locking medication bags are on hand at the front bar, provided by VA Peer Support at the Chalmers P. Wylie Veterans Outpatient Clinic. No sign-up. Take what you need. If you or a veteran you know is struggling, call 988 and press 1.

The September Drop: Caramel Apple Latte

Every month we release one specialty drink, and a portion of every sale supports a veteran or first responder nonprofit.

Caramel apple in a cup, right as the orchard opens. Built on our house caramel and real apple, made for a September morning in Gahanna.

This month's Drop benefits First Responders' Bridge, a Westerville nonprofit founded after the 2018 deaths of two Westerville police officers. The Bridge runs confidential, expense-free retreats for active and retired first responders and their significant others who are coping with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, cumulative stress, and suicidal thoughts from job-related trauma. Since 2019, they've helped more than 2,000 first responders, and lodging, meals, clinicians, and speakers are all covered so cost is never the reason someone doesn't get help.

Drink with intention.

Our Story

Built on service. Rooted in community.

Founded by Army veteran Ryan Sargent and his wife Brandi, SGT Coffee Co. was created to bring people together. After years of military service and community leadership, Ryan felt called to build something tangible — a place where connection happens naturally over a cup of coffee.

What began as a love for hosting friends and family became something bigger: a veteran-owned coffee shop in Gahanna centered on community over transaction. Service didn’t end when the uniform came off. It simply changed form.

Today, SGT Coffee Co. operates inside The Well in the Creekside District — a gathering place for veterans, families, entrepreneurs, and neighbors alike.
